Library Procedures

1.    Students must have their Penns Valley Library ID Card with them at all times in the library. All  materials will be signed out using the library ID Card.

2.    Students wishing to use the library in the morning before homeroom are welcome to do so. The library  remains open from 7:30am to 3:30pm.

3.    Access to the library is with the required blue pass, signed by your classroom teacher.

4.    Students that have specific projects or assignments to work on in the library may come during Multi-Purpose Period.  You must sign up in the library anytime that day until the beginning of Block 4 with either Mrs. Straub or Mrs. Gray.

5.    All Penns Valley School District computer policies and procedures will be enforced for computer usage.  Internet Permission must be completed and on file prior to Internet use.

6.    Students are asked to leave gym bags, backpacks, coats, and other large items in their lockers rather than bring them to the library.

7.    Students are expected to follow good citizenship, common sense, and respect the rights and privileges of others.

8.    Students with outstanding overdue books, fines, etc. should take care of such obligations as soon as possible.  You are responsible to return materials on time.  Notices will be sent out periodically to students with outstanding obligations.
