Elective - Sociology II Course Description

Grades 11-12


Prerequisite:  Successful completion of Sociology I.

Sociology is a continuation of the study of human society and social behavior as learned in Sociology I.  Topics related to this course include social inequalities, different types of social institutions, and the role that population and urbanization have had on our modern world.  This course will consist of investigations, discussions, in-class projects and assignments, and a research project.
