Concert Attire & Expectations

  • All students should wear black. This unifies the ensemble and places emphasis on performance.
  • Wear clothing that is not distracting (not shiny, not short, not tight).
  • Students should be able to perform comfortably in their outfit. A tuba player might dress differently from a clarinet player, percussionist, or singer.
  • Students should report to PVHS at least 30 minutes before the beginning of a concert. This affords students time to  warm up and prepare for an outstanding concert that starts on time.

A schedule for the Penns Valley 2026 Winter Concerts lists events from Monday, December 7th to Friday, December 11th.

A large group of students in matching maroon t-shirts pose together on steps inside a building.
